On Thursday, Penguins centre Nick Bonino kept the party going and took the Stanley Cup to UPMC Rooney Sports Complex, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ practice facility, to surprise the team during their workouts.

Members of the Steelers, especially defensive end Cameron Heyward, loved the surprise visit and even took some time to snap a photo with the Cup.

Steelers players took in some games during the NHL playoffs and kicker Chris Boswell was ejected from Game 5 for banging on the glass.

The Penguins were due for a visit to the Steelers’ facility after they made a stop at PNC Park on Tuesday night to visit the Pirates.

Heyward was right about not many cities having great bonds between the teams, but it’s awesome when it does happen.
