Bruce Lee is without a doubt one of the most influential martial artists of all-time. He appeared in more than 30 different films and TV shows from 1941-1973 and his moves left people in awe all across the globe.
In 1967, Lee entered the Long Beach International Karate Championships under the name “Kato”, his character’s name from The Milton Berle Show, Batman, and The Green Hornet.
Lee made one appearance in the tournament, where he demonstrated his famous one-punch and two-finger push-ups.
It’s been 50 years since Lee appeared in the tournament in Long Beach, California, but footage from him sparring with Ted Wong has finally been released and Lee quickly proves that everything he was doing on screen wasn’t an act.
It’s pretty obvious why you didn’t mess with Bruce Lee after seeing this footage of him sparring.
