The New York Knicks have been in turmoil for a long time.
The most recent era was the Phil Jackson era where Knicks fans proved they can turn even the most legendary NBA names into a punchline. Jackson’s triangle offence that was expected to be brought to the Madison Square Garden is a strategy that goes against the current trends in the NBA of shooting more threes and spacing the floor.
So, whether the Knicks were getting in trouble using the triangle or not, basically any failure during Jackson’s tenure as team president could be mocked by mentioning the triangle.
Well, now in a serendipitous beginning of a new New York Knicks era, the Knicks announced a new jersey sponsor: Square Space.
Not much gets by Knicks fans at this point, so surely they weren’t going to miss a chance to make another triangle joke.
