Things got pretty chaotic in Atlanta on Saturday afternoon.

The Braves hosted the Washington Nationals for the second game of their three-game series, but the game was interrupted early on by some intense rain.

During the rain delay, the wind got so out of control that Nationals relief pitcher Oliver Perez went out to lend a hand to the SunTrust Park grounds crew as they attempted to get the tarp in place to protect the diamond from the rain.

Thanks to Perez and the grounds crew, they were able to get everything under control and the two teams were able to resume play once the rain cleared.

Unfortunately Perez didn't receive any good karma for his actions as the Nationals ended up losing 5-2.
