Baseball teams always do promotion nights the proper way.
The 2017 MLB season pretty much just got started, so there’s still a full summer of giveaways to look forward to this season. One of the best promotions has to be out of Minnesota, as the Twins are set to host a Prince Night later this year.
Known as the Purple Rain Umbrella, the Twins will hook up the first 10,000 fans in attendance for their game on June 16 against the Cleveland Indians with one of these limited edition Prince-themed umbrellas.
It also appears that the team has something planned for the 7th inning that includes these umbrellas, but we’ll have to wait until the actual game to see what that is.
Prince was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, so it’s fitting that the Twins are the team hosting this type of promotion.
