Sports franchises love hosting different promotion nights, with the most popular one being Star Wars Night. It doesn’t matter what league the team hails from, almost every single franchise gets in on the Star Wars hype whenever they can.
It looks like there’s a new promotion night that’s going to start giving Stars Wars Night for most popular promotion night.
This past season we witnessed the ECHL’s Toledo Walleye and the NBA D-League’s Delaware 87ers host a Nickelodeon Night, where each team rocked special edition Power Rangers uniforms for the night.
Now there’s a baseball team getting in on the action.
The Hickory Crawdads, the Class-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, will be hosting their own Nickelodeon Night later next month and will be rocking special red Power Rangers uniforms for the night.
Nickelodeon Night (Power Rangers Night) will most likely never become as popular as Star Wars Night, but we hope that more teams start to host their own because there’s plenty of Power Rangers colours left to choose from.
