The 1992 US men’s Olympic basketball team is best known as the “Dream Team” and featured one of the greatest rosters ever assembled in the history of sports.
Not only did the team go undefeated during their run, but they steamrolled over all their opponents before eventually capturing the gold medal with a 47-point victory over Venezuela.
Later this month, the Detroit Tigers’ Triple-A affiliate the Toledo Mud Hens are going to honour the 25th anniversary of the 1992 US men's Olympic basketball team with some incredible Dream Team-inspired uniforms.
The team will rock the uniforms for their three-game series against the Columbus Clippers, the Triple-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians and will even be rocking a special edition hat which fans can purchase at the game.
This is definitely one of the cooler sports collaborations we have come across and is certainly one of the better MiLB promotions happening this summer.
