It’s been a very rough couple of weeks for actor Shaun Weiss.
Known best for his role as Goldberg in The Mighty Ducks trilogy, Weiss was arrested last month and sentenced to 150 days in jail for stealing $151 worth of merchandise from an electronics store.
Weiss was released from jail 12 days into his sentence due to overcrowding, but things got a lot worse for The Mighty Ducks goalie just five days after he was released as he was arrested in Los Angeles for possession of a controlled substance in Los Angeles, TMZ reports.
“Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... cops in Burbank got a 911 call last Wednesday for a suspicious person stumbling around yards in a neighborhood near the Warner Bros. studio lot.
Cops responded and arrested Weiss around 2:30 PM, booking him for possession of a controlled substance. We're told he had meth on him ... unclear exactly how much, though. He's being held on a $20,000 bond.”
It’s sad to see anyone spiral out of control like this, so hopefully the former child star is able to get the help that he needs.
