Michigan (Seven seed) pulled off a huge upset earlier today in NCAA basketball, as they defeated the two-seed Louisville Cardinals – effectively destroying anybody’s bracket who still had any life after Villanova’s loss.
So, aside from people being upset about their brackets, upsets are always fun. Wolverines fans, players and coaches were all excited – perhaps most of all was John Beilein, the Wolverines’ head coach who got to spray his team with a super soaker as a celebration.
It wasn’t quite as big of an upset as Villanova’s yesterday, so it didn’t inspire the same type of memes. But, as we said before, it did put the nail in the coffin for our bracket.
