It’s always a big deal when North Carolina and Duke go head-to-head in college basketball. With the two teams battling it out at the Dean E. Smith Center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina on Saturday night, the Tar Heels decided to bring out the greatest player to ever dawn their uniform, Michael Jordan.
As expected, Jordan walked out to a standing ovation that would have gone on for at least five minutes if he didn’t take the microphone to say a few words. The reason for Jordan’s speech was to let the fans know that the Tar Heels will now be rocking Jordan Brand going forward, but it was one of his lines at the end that the Internet had a field day with.

Jordan saying ‘the ceiling is the roof’ had the Internet cracking up and you can bet they had a field day with the whole thing.
But it wouldn’t be the Internet roasting Michael Jordan without his new go-to quote and his famous meme.
The Crying Jordan meme isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, and we’re guessing this line about the ceiling being the roof is going to stick around for a while as well.
