In the Seattle Seahawks' lopsided victory over the LA Rams on Thursday Night Football last week, Michael Bennett was flagged for a post-sack dance. Players celebrate after plays all the time, and are commonly flagged and punished by the NFL, who are notoriously dubbed the 'No Fun League."
Since it's the holiday season, Bennett showed up to Wednesday's press conference wearing an ugly Christmas sweater. What was special enough about this Christmas sweater it deserved a full post on BarDown, one might ask? The Christmas sweater featured the dance Bennett did after the sack that the NFL flagged him for. Brilliant... not to mention a quick turnaround to knit a sweater!
Bennett owns 20 of the ugly Christmas sweaters, and doesn't think very much of the NFL's celebration rules.
