Miami RedHawks to honour Brendan Burke during You Can Play Series this weekend

The University of Miami men’s hockey team will be rocking one-of-a-kind jerseys when they take the ice this Friday night at home against Providence.

The Miami RedHawks will host the You Can Play Series this weekend and they’ll honour former team manager Brendan Burke with their jerseys for their game against the Providence Friars.

Burke became a student manager back in 2009 and was responsible for recruiting correspondences, reviewing game film, working with the coaches and also analyzed players.

You Can Play Project was founded following Brendan’s death, and the jerseys will feature both the You Can Play Project logo and a logo for Brendan Burke.
