The Nashville Predators picked up their first win of the 2017-18 season as they defeated the Philadelphia Flyers 6-5 in their home opener Tuesday night.
Since the team spent the first few days of the season on the road, they finally get a chance to relax at home for a few days as they prepare to host the Dallas Stars on Thursday night.
On Wednesday, Nick Bonino, Yannick Weber and the team's mascot Gnash spent the day playing road hockey with Nashville residents.
Through the Preds Youth Hockey initiative, the members of the Preds and Gnash took the Clarence S. Campbell Bowl to Nolensville, Tennessee, and spent the day playing some road hockey with young, aspiring hockey players.
This is definitely something that the kids will remember for the rest of their lives and it's awesome to see how much hockey has grown in Tennessee because of the Predators franchise.
