Right now, Erik Karlsson and the Ottawa Senators are in Sweden right now as they get set to take on the Avalanche on Friday and Saturday as part of the NHL's Global Series.
The captains of both teams (Karlsson and Gabriel Landeskog) are both Swedish and have represented their country multiple times in international tournaments.
With the games being a few days away, players will have the opportunity to explore Sweden with their teammates, families and significant others.
As many people know, Karlsson got married in the summer and his wife (Melinda Karlsson) is in Sweden with him. On Tuesday, she posted another wonderful picture of Karlsson to her Instagram story that showcases his fun personality that so many hockey fans love.
Karlsson's personality is as golden as that jacket he's wearing, and a quick look on his or his wife's Instagram account proves that fact.
