We’re just over a week away from the superfight between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather and the two fighters are getting in their final media appearances before they go toe-to-toe inside the ring on Saturday, August 26.
On Wednesday, McGregor made an appearance on Conan and the talk show host replayed the UFC Lightweight Champion’s comments he made about Mayweather when he was on his show two years ago and wanted to know if he still felt the same way about Mayweather and the fight with the actual bout just over a week away.
McGregor called for this fight more than two years ago and now it’s actually going to happen and he appears more confident than ever. Not only has Mayweather never lost a fight in his career, but McGregor plans on defeating the undefeated boxer within the first four rounds.
Mayweather is still heavily favoured to beat McGregor in the bout, but The Notorious One isn’t letting anything get to him ahead of the fight.
