Connor McDavid continues to defy all logic that has been built over the last 100 years in the NHL.
He does things that most people didn’t think was possible for a long time, at least at the speed he does them. When you see an NHLer skate, it’s a large part of what seperates them from the other great players around the world, and then you see McDavid skate, you see a large part of what makes him in the conversation for best player in the world.
Even in the offseason, McDavid is still flying up and down the ice. This week, it was at Biosteel camp, where he might have pulled off the nastiest goal of the tournament.
There was plenty more where that came from this week at BioSteel, but that definitely got us excited for hockey season. What it also got us excited for is seeing the ratings for McDavid this year in NHL 18. Over on Instagram, we were trying to predict what Patrik Laine’s rating might be now that we’ve seen Auston Matthews’, but we’ll have to wait and see.
