As dominant as Sidney Crosby has been this season, he's still four points behind Connor McDavid for the league lead in points.
Wednesday night, McDavid reached another milestone against the Panthers with an assist on the Oilers' opening goal of the game.
McDavid's 100th career point came in just his 92nd career game, and with it he joined some elite company to say the least.
Oddly enough, Crosby and Malkin are number two and three in the NHL in points behind McDavid, while Ovi is tied for fourth in goals with 21.
Connor also made some Oilers history with his 100th career point, too.
McDavid started his quest for 200 career points against the Panthers as he added another assist on the night and also scored the overtime winner.
Safe to say things are going well for him and the Oilers, and it only gets better as Edmonton's captain will be on the newest edition of Cabbie Presents Friday.
