Arizona Coyotes winger Max Domi has inspired a lot of young hockey players since entering the league back in 2015, especially those with Diabetes, and now he’s turning to a young hockey player for some inspiration of his own.

21-year-old Kaleb Dahlgren is an assistant captain of the Humboldt Broncos and is currently in the hospital recovering from the tragic bus crash. He also happens to be a Type 1 diabetic, just like Domi.

On Monday, Kaleb received something special from the Coyotes winger, who sent his hero a little something special to help lift his spirits during this tough time.

Inspired by Kaleb, Domi sent the Broncos assistant captain a signed game jersey, personalized with a very special message and the gesture was greatly appreciated.

After coming across the photo of Kaleb with the signed jersey, Domi instantly reposted it in his Instagram story with the caption “Kaleb is an inspiration to us all. #HumboldtStrong”

Domi is just one of the hundreds of thousands of people who have stepped up for the Humboldt Broncos and the community during this difficult time and every gesture does not go unappreciated, no matter how big or small it may be.
