You don't have to be in the playoffs to grow a beard.
The Arizona Coyotes finished the 2016-17 season with 70 points, missing the playoffs by 24 points, but that hasn't stopped forward Max Domi from getting in the Stanley Cup Playoffs spirit, continuing to grow a gigantic beard of his own.
Before the season ended, Domi had already let his beard grow to a pretty decent length. Sunday, a picture of Domi posing with goaltending legend Grant Fuhr popped up on Twitter, showcasing just how large Domi's beard has become.
Who knows how long Domi will continue to grow his beard, but if the young forward decides to avoid trimming it until the start of the 2017-18 NHL season, Joe Thornton's mighty beard may just have some competition for best in the league.
