When the away team can't physically make it to the arena, the game usually gets cancelled.
That was the case in OHL action Wednesday night as the Kitchener Rangers game against the Erie Otters was postponed due to inclement weather. One person who knew the game wouldn't be played Wednesday night before it was even postponed was Rangers Assistant Coach Matthew Barnaby. The former Buffalo Sabres' player was back in Buffalo for the first time in a while, and predicted they wouldn't be making it with a funny tweet.
Just a while later, and the Kitchener Rangers organization confirmed the game would be postponed.
Oh the weather outside is weather...
