Marvel created a comic-book graphic for the CFP National Championship, and it’s awesome

At this time last year, the Alabama Crimson Tide took down the then-top-ranked Clemson Tigers in the College Football Playoff National Championship game to go home college football’s best team of the year. On Monday night, the roles are reversed for a national championship rematch, and Clemson looks to exact revenge and defeat the No. 1 seed in Alabama.

In anticipation of the big game, Marvel and ESPN teamed up to create a pretty awesome image of the two mascots with a comic-book style theme. Check it out below:

Marvel lucked out on it being teams with pretty cool looking mascots in the game, because we really don’t think the graphic would have looked as awesome with the Ohio State Buckeyes mascot. However, the Washington Huskies drawing would have had potential to look pretty great.

You can watch the College Football Playoff National Championship Monday night at 8pm ET, on TSN1, TSN4 and TSN5.
