Marc Methot went through a pretty unusual offseason this past summer.
After playing a big role on the Ottawa Senators blue line for the past five seasons, the Ottawa native was left exposed by the club at the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft and he was selected by the Vegas Golden Knights. Five days later, the 32-year-old defenceman was traded by the Golden Knights to the Dallas Stars in exchange for goalie prospect Dylan Ferguson and a second round pick in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft.
During the Stars’ training camp, Methot switched things up and put his reporting skills to the test as he decided to interview his new teammates ahead of the season.
Methot caught up with teammates Tyler Seguin, Ben Bishop, Devin Shore and Brett Ritchie and they all had some pretty good answers for their new teammate, despite feeling like they were put on the spot.
