You never know what you’re going to stumble across when you go to a garage sale or hit up a local thrift store.
A few years ago one person decided to take to Craigslist to find a used hockey net for his kids and what he ended up stumbling upon was more than just a typical hockey net.
It turns out the net that was for sale on Craigslist was the same one used by Phil and Amanda Kessel as kids.
According to the user who purchased the net off of Kessel’s parents, they also threw in some signed photos of Phil for his kids and even delivered the net to his house after it failed to fit inside his Jeep.
Phil evolved into one of the greatest goal scorers in the NHL while Amanda representing USA in her second Winter Olympic Games, so it’s safe to say this person went to the right place to find a hockey net.
