Athletes all over North America tuned into the Super Bowl last night, many of them at team parties.
The Pittsburgh Penguins were one of the team’s to have a couple get togethers, one of them at what seems to be Sidney Crosby’s house. We say that it was Sidney Crosby’s house only because it’s the only thing that would explain the picture you’re about to see.
It’s become well-known in the hockey world that Crosby and Nathan MacKinnon (Both raised in Cole Harbour) have formed a special bond. It’s a bond that has brought them together for a couple Tim Hortons pranks and several offseason training sessions. Well, it also encouraged Crosby to frame a picture of him and MacKinnon and have it on display at his house.
We have discovered this new information because at their Super Bowl party last night, the three teammates posed for a photo with the photo and Malkin threw it up on Instagram.

Obviously, considering he’s in the picture too, Crosby is being a good sport about the whole thing. Now, the next step in this process is to get really meta with the pictures by framing this one, then posing with MacKinnon while holding this photo. Then, this can continue until the end of time because we never want it to end.
They can take notes from Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake’s Bromance. They know how to do it.
