The Colorado Avalanche weren't exactly world-beaters this past season. In fact, they were historically terrible. So when forward Nathan MacKinnon comments on how good it feels to play on a really good team, we know he's being completely genuine.
MacKinnon is of course playing for Team Canada at the World Hockey Championship this spring, and talked with Darren Dreger on Monday about how he's been enjoying playing on a winning team. The video can be seen above.
Team Canada is 3-0 at the tournament so far, and plays host team France at 2pm ET Thursday on TSN1, TSN3 and TSN4.
