Roberto Luongo should one day receive the Lifetime Twitter Achievement award from the NHL, because everything he tweets is gold.
He seems to know exactly when to chime in on just about every subject around the NHL, so we were almost waiting for him to say something about the NHL Draft, and when his team, the Florida Panthers, were on the board, he hit one out of the park.
Of course, we all remember the Luongo versus Cory Schneider goalie controversy saga that unfolded in front of our eyes in Vancouver, and when the Panthers drafted Owen Tippett, the goalie had a flashback.
Don’t worry, Luongo… Tippett is a winger. You’ve got nothing to worry about.
