Lonzo Ball's father claimed his son is already better than Steph Curry

Basketball dad LaVar Ball has plenty to be proud of.

His son Lonzo has been dominant as a freshman for the UCLA Bruins, and his younger son, LaMelo, is shining in high school and will also play for the Bruins in the coming years.

This past week, LaVar boldy claimed that Lonzo will be better than Golden State Warrirors guard Steph Curry.

Last night, during the Bruins 102-70 win over the USC Trojans, he claimed that his son is already better than the two-time MVP.

At first, the comment seems ridiculous when you consider Curry’s NBA accolades and prolific career with Davidson College. LaVar was just trying to be supportive though, and who knows, maybe Lonzo will become the NBA’s next biggest star?

It’s going to be exciting to see the two go head-to-head when Ball makes his jump to the big league.
