They adjust to run Curry off ball, going through screens and screens and screens, Klay Thompson-style. That’s exhausting! Kawhi certainly couldn’t keep this up for a full game.
But he doesn’t have to. For the second half, he plays a complete two-way game, hounding Curry with every last ounce of energy he has. Curry can make contested jumpers, too, but on the final possession of the game, Kawhi comes up with the critical steal.
