LeBron James has ties in the wrestling world that run deep.
King James has loved wrestling since he was a kid, as per sneakernews.com, and over the past few years we've seen how he's combined basketball and wrestling.
James wore the Undertaker shirt when Cleveland was down 3-1 to the Warriors and he rocked the Ultimate Warrior shirt after completing the comeback in that same series to win the title.
The three-time NBA champion also released the Nike LeBron 14 earlier this summer and the shoes pay homage to three of his favourite wrestlers, Ultimate Warrior, The Undertaker and Ric Flair.
This love of wrestling gave us one of our favourite videos to look back on in the entire sports world. In 2003, LeBron’s rookie year, he attended Monday Night Raw in Cleveland and it’s the perfect video. He couldn’t be more excited and the entire thing couldn’t be more 2003. The flip phone is a perfect touch.
Of course, the one thing we want to point out from the video is LeBron's amazing flip-phone.
For those kids out there that never had the pleasure of owning and using a flip-phone, they were a big deal, but not the easiest to use. That said, they are actually still around and while James probably doesn't use one anymore, Andrew Luck still did as of 2016.
Next time we see James at a WWE event, you can bet he won't have a flip-phone, but it's safe to assume he'll be in the front row having an amazing time.
