LeBron James is an absolute monster on a basketball court and has been since he was a kid – but he still believes his son is better than he was in certain parts of the game.
12-year-old LeBron James Jr. attended the 2017 John Lucas All-Star Weekend and had an insane amount of highlights for such a short period of time. He's done it before, but it's clear his game has improved. He was drilling deep threes, blocking shots and dishing the rock with proficiency. Now, if he can just get some of that size from his dad, he has some serious potential.
It’s not just us who thinks so, he also has scholarship offers from Duke and Kentucky. And of course, as we mentioned off the top, LeBron James Sr. pointed out that his son is a better ball handler and shooter than he was at that age.
Being better than LeBron at anything related to basketball at any age is impressive, so people around the world will pay attention as LeBron’s son continues to develop as a player. Maybe one day we’ll get to see them play in the same league.
