LeBron James is close to the most famous athlete in the world. On ESPN’s World Fame 100, where they rank the most famous athletes in the world, he was behind only Cristiano Ronaldo.
Still, not everyone is a sports fan and some people are so disconnected from sports that they wouldn’t recognize anyone if they were right beside them. In this scenario it was especially extreme, because not only was LeBron James riding the subway, but he was surrounded by a group of abnormally large people – including Dwyane Wade who was sitting right across from him.
It’s a hilarious encounter, but also funny that LeBron didn’t care at all about him wanting to be in the video.
They’re wearing hoodies as if they’re being incognito, but as you can see in the video below, all of their sweaters say Cleveland and they’re walking around in giant crews. The entire team had a nice trip around New York City.
