Basketball fans see two different sides of LeBron James. There’s ‘Superstar LeBron’ who is able to dominate anyone, anywhere, anytime, and then there’s ‘Flopping LeBron’ who is known for attempting, and sometimes pulling off, the most brutal flops in the history of the game.
On Thursday night, LeBron and the Cavaliers paid a visit to the Oklahoma City Thunder. With the Cavs down by 6 midway through the second quarter, James stole the ball and took off all alone with nothing but the basket in sight. When things didn’t exactly go as planned, James tried to use his ‘Superstar LeBron’ status to get a call in favour of ‘Flopping LeBron’. Unfortunately for him and the Cavs, the referee wasn’t buying any of it.
He didn’t even get touched on the way to the hoop, but figured he could probably get a call his way because it’s not every day you see one of the world’s best miss a wide open dunk like that.
Good thing the referee held his ground and didn't make the call.
