Who is the greatest NBA coach of all-time? Phil Jackson? Pat Riley? Larry Brown? Red Auerbach? The list goes on and on. But maybe the greatest NBA coach of all-time is still an active coach in the league.
A player who will surely go down as one of the greatest players of all-time, Cleveland Cavaliers' LeBron James, had his say on the matter on Friday. The Cavs are playing the San Antonio Spurs Saturday, and James believes they're going up against the best coach ever in Spurs' coach Gregg Popovich.
Listen to James argument on why Popovich is the greatest coach of all-time:
Popovich has won a lot of rings, but an argument that might be even better is that he's done it in a league that has constantly evolved around him. Popovich has had to change along with the game on multiple occasions, and James knows how few coaches have been able to do that successfully.
