It's safe to say Cleveland Cavaliers LeBron James and New England Patriots Tom Brady are at the highest level of play in their respective sports. After Brady's most recent Super Bowl he's been placed into the conversation as the greatest football player of all-time, and LeBron has been seated on the NBA throne for a while now.
While Brady as the greatest quarterback of all-time isn't often argued against, some might argue he's not the best football player ever. The quarterback position isn't exactly the most athletic of the positions in football, and that side of the conversation can cause disagreement.
ESPN recently released a special where LeBron James, Draymond Green, Maverick Carter, and many more had barbershop chatter. During the special, Tom Brady's greatest came up, and LeBron had an interesting take on why a football player can't be the greatest athlete.
The following excerpt from the video above was transcribed by BarStool Sports:
While quarterback may not be the "most athletic" of the positions, in our opinion it is one of the hardest positions in all of sports to play, and that has to be worth something in this argument.
What do you think - can a football player, or more specifically a quarterback, be talked about as the greatest athlete?
