Le’Veon Bell stayed true to his word by showing up to the Pittsburgh Steelers’ training facility on Friday afternoon, but the running back did not leave with a new contract.
Although the two-time Pro Bowl selection did not leave with a new contract, the 25-year-old is expected to sign a new contract by Monday.
Just in case things fall through and Bell doesn’t end up with a new contract from the Steelers, the Reynoldsburg, Ohio native decided to hit up his local Dairy Queen on Thursday night and he filled out a job application for a full-time position.
Even if he doesn’t get a new contract with the Steelers for some strange reason, we’re sure just about every team in the league will be giving him a call with a contract offer.
However, if he chooses Dairy Queen instead, he’s promised to hook some people up with some free products.
Bell was selected 48th overall by the Steelers in the 2013 NFL Draft and has 4,045 career rushing yards, 2,005 receiving yards and 31 total touchdowns in four NFL seasons.
