In life, many athletes fail multiple times before succeeding. That's just the way it is, and even the greatest athletes of all-time, like Michael Jordan and Wayne Gretzky, would be the first to admit that they failed at times during their careers.
In fact, MJ has a famous quote about failure that is sure to inspire anyone who's failed.
Here's where Lance Stephenson comes in. The former Pacer has bounced around quite a bit since his time in Indiana, and recently he signed a 10-day contract with Minnesota.
Unfortunately, Stephenson suffered suffered an ankle injury, but that hasn't got his spirits down, judging by this quote he shared on Instagram that looks a little familiar.
In short, Stephenson stole Jordan's famous quote, which is just hilarious on its own. It got even better, though, when fans started to notice it was MJ's quote and called Lance out.
Stephenson pulling a Michael Scott got more love than hate, and rightly so because the quote heist was quite funny.
We hope the failures lead to success for Lance, just as they did for Jordan, as Stephenson has only played in 10 games this season after playing in 69 last season.
