Tuesday morning, Winter Storm Stella hit the Northeast, and while most people were inside, some took advantage by going outside.

Unfortunately for the Winnipeg Jets and New Jersey Devils, they didn't get a chance to play hockey Tuesday night as their game was cancelled due to the storm.

In an interview with NHL.com's Varpu Sihvonen, Patrik Laine hilariously compared the snowstorm in New York to the snowstorms in Finland.

"Finns beach weather, he acknowledged that ravaged the area snow storm in New York City."

In other words, the snowstorm in New York was "beach weather" compared to the snowstorms Finland gets, which is funny considering New York was in a state of emergency due to the storm.

Obviously Laine is used to the cold weather and the snow, so he seemingly got drafted to the perfect place, Winnipeg.

As for how Laine spent his time during the storm Tuesday, playing video games of course.
