One is the sport we grew up watching and playing, with a special link to our countries identity. The other is the best friend who accompanied us to the skating-rink after school every day to watch us play the above. Hockey and dogs, two of life's beautiful gifts.
On Monday night, the L.A. Kings fell 2-1 to the Tampa Bay Lightning. None of that mattered because this fan was captured on the jumbotron, artistically bringing those two wonderful gifts together, lifting her dog into the air as if Elton John's 'Circle Of Life' was playing, and that is the equivalent of a Kings' win in our opinion.
It worked a bit better than this one...
