In order to get the man they wanted the Senators had to give up a key piece of their organization in Kyle Turris, who managed to give his NHL career a new life when he was dealt to Ottawa during the 2011-12 season. Turris played a big role for the Senators organization, both on and off the ice, so you can bet both he and the Sens Army were shocked to find out  he was part of the blockbuster deal.

On Tuesday morning, Turris shared a special message with all his supporters and had plenty of good things to say about the Senators and the City of Ottawa.
