The Toronto Raptors picked up a big victory over the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 5 on Monday night to take a 3-2 series lead.
Raptors fans have been used to watching either DeMar DeRozan or Kyle Lowry lead the way for the Raps all season long. However, the past two games, Norman Powell has been the man behind their extra spark.
Powell led the way for the Raptors on Monday night by scoring a team-high 25 points in 34 minutes of action.
Following the game, he didn’t get as much love from the reporters as he got from the fans, but Lowry made sure the young guard got the proper attention he deserved during the post-game press conferences.
The man of the night most likely didn’t take the lack of questions personally, as he had a large smile on his face after Lowry reminded the reporters that he was the hero and sitting right beside him. The Raptors point guard even praised Powell’s performance immediately after the game while he was answering questions on the court.
Powell has been one of hottests member of the Raptors since being inserted into the starting lineup and he will look to keep his hot streak going on Wednesday night in Milwaukee.
