The Mannequin Challenge is like every other viral video trend in the history of social media, eventually they all die down.
Remember how big it was back near the end of 2016? Well, everything has an expiration date, and it seems like the #MannequinChallenge has overstayed its welcome in the social media world.
That being said, there are always people out there willing to try and revive social media trends, and apparently the Korean Basketball League has a lot of those people in it.
During the league's All-Star game, the players on the court and the coaches and players on the bench all surprised everyone watching by pulling off an incredible Mannequin Challenge.
Innovative and creative. We usually saw teams do the Mannequin Challenge during practice or after a game, but we've never really seen one done mid-game before, until now.
Does this mean the viral trend is coming back, though? Only time will tell, but if it's anything like the "dab," we'll be seeing it for a long time.
