No one likes showing up to the ballpark just to wait through a rain delay, and it’s even worse when you wait it out and the game ends up getting postponed to a later date.
However, sometimes rain delays can turn out to be a fun time, especially for the players waiting to get the game started.
Earlier this week, a KBO League game between the Doosan Bears and LG Twins was postponed due to heavy rain. Instead of packing up and heading back to the clubhouse, members of the Twins decided to have some fun with the delay and used the tarp on the field as a giant Slip ‘N Slide.
Even though the fans can’t partake in the fun with the team on the field, it’s still nice to see the kid inside professional athletes come out during times like these.
Maybe next time they’ll think about throwing on some television during their rain delay like the Chicago Cubs did earlier this season.
