Regardless of whether you watched him in his prime or never got a chance to watch him play, everyone knows the legend of Michael Jordan.

The greatest player of all-time (sorry LeBron) dominated the league like no other player has throughout his illustrious career, but the legend of MJ started when he was a kid in high school known as Mike.

Jordan attended Laney High School and actually didn't make the varsity team as a sophomore in 1978.  Jordan responded with hard work and after he made the varsity team as a junior, he dominated averaging 25.4 points, 12 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game.

If there was one picture to show how dominant MJ was in high school, it would probably be this one which is posted on Reddit on Wednesday with the caption "My dad vs. Michael Jordan in high school."

Clearly this person's dad had some trouble defending MJ, and realistically, he was not the first nor the last player to fail that test.  What makes the picture so legendary is the dad's face.  Truly legendary.

As dominant as Jordan was in high school, he failed to lead his team as a senior to a state title.  That being said, he did go on to win six NBA championships, so there's that...
