Kevin Fiala gives Preds fans an update, thanks them for their support with an Instagram post

The Nashville Predators opened up their second round series with the St. Louis Blues with a 4-3 victory on the road.

However, despite opening up the series with a big road victory, the Predators lost Kevin Fiala for the remainder of the season after he suffered a broken femur and needed to be stretchered off the ice.

A few days ago, the 20-year-old gave fans an update through his Instagram account and thanked them for all their support.

Very sad to end the season like this, but I will come back even stronger. I wanna thank you all for the great wishes and support. Wishing @predsnhl the best of luck in the rest of the playoffs. 🐯 see you in October. 💪🏽

You never want to see a player get injured, especially the way Fiala did in the opening game of their second round series. Hopefully he goes through a speedy recovery and is ready to go for the start of next season.
