For the second time in their careers, Kevin Durant and LeBron James are squaring off in the NBA Finals, and through two games, KD has been the superstar everyone is talking about.

KD was turning defense into offense all night in Game 2.

Durant is the early favourite for Finals MVP thanks to two incredible performances in the first two games of the series.

James has been just as good statistically, though, and he's the only reason the Cavs have been competitive in the first two contests.

It's just the second time ever.

KD and LeBron are considered by many to be the two best players in basketball, and some interesting news about the relationship of the two came out on Monday.

As per ESPN, league sources informed them that back in 2011 when Durant was working out James in Akron during the lockout, the two collaborated on a hip-hop track.

As per ESPN's Chris Haynes' article, Durant provided the instrumentals and both superstars rapped on the track.

Apparently the track was so good that it almost made an appearance in the movie 'Thunderstruck' which featured KD.

“I heard the track years ago during post production for ‘Thunderstruck,’” said agent Eric Goodwin, who executive produced the film and once represented both Durant and James. “It was very good. I suggested submitting it to Warner Brothers for the movie soundtrack, but KD wanted to keep it private.”

Some will probably question the legitimacy of the song, but based on the report, it's real and it probably won't ever see the light of day.

That said, the two will probably be asked about it before Game 3 in Cleveland now that the word about it is out there.
