Last night, in what was the biggest game of the Elite 8, Kentucky hit a massive three to tie the game with less than ten seconds remaining and Kentucky fans went crazy.
Not just in the arena, but around the country as fans gathered to watch the game, Kentucky fans were on cloud 9 – but not for long. Under seven seconds later, UNC came back down the court and drilled a game-winning shot, leaving only .3 seconds on the clock. That’s a quite change of emotion for Kentucky fans which you can vividly see in the video below.
With all of the excitement in the stadium when the actual shot was made, you don’t notice as much because of the cheering UNC fans, but there was definitely some similar emotions.
It just made the defeat that much more excruciating, something that Kentucky’s players felt more than anyone.
