The Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook "beef" is something some basketball fans enjoy bringing up, while others wish it would just end.
Obviously when KD left Oklahoma City for Golden State, fans were upset, but we imagine Westbrook was, too.
The two players battled multiple times this past season and in one game in OKC, they talked a bunch of thrash to each other.
Still, we imagine both players have respect for each other on and off the court, and KD confirmed that fact Tuesday when he took to YouTube to congratulate Russ on winning his first MVP.

In terms of high praise, it doesn't get much higher than that, unless you're MJ, of course.
At the end of the day, real recognize real and KD recognized every award winner, from Eric Gordon to Mike D'Antoni.
Durant also took aim at thought negatively about the NBA season as a whole because of how dominant the Warriors were.
Say what you want about Durant, but the fact remains he loves the game of basketball, he respects the great players in the game today and he's been true to himself from the start.
The only difference is he's now a Finals MVP and NBA Champion.
