You never know who you’re going to run into during the All-Star weekend, especially with this year’s NHL All-Star Game taking place in Los Angeles. Although the game doesn’t take place until Sunday afternoon, the weekend is jam packed with fun and exciting things for the fans to take part in.
On Saturday morning, Carolina Hurricanes defenceman Justin Faulk decided to kill some time and hit the streets of LA. He wasn’t just going for a morning stroll, though, he was looking for young hockey fans so he could surprise them with some free gear.
The two young fans were rocking Chicago Blackhawks and Pittsburgh Penguins gear, but that didn’t stop the 24-year-old from giving them some brand new Raleighwood gear.
It’s too bad that he didn’t run into some Hurricanes fans instead, but these two youngsters were pretty excited to meet the NHL defenceman regardless of who they cheer for. One of them was even left speechless because he was starstruck, but we don’t blame him one bit.
