One of Justin Bieber’s childhood dreams came true today, when he participated in the NHL celebrity game with some of the greatest players to ever lace them up. While it’s no secret the Ontario native is a huge fan of the game, he was reminded that he chose the right career path when battling in the corner with future Hall of Famer Chris Pronger. Watch him get man-handled in the corner by the towering defenceman.
It’s a good thing there was no legitimate contact in the game, because that one could have been ugly. The scrum wasn’t the only rough part of Bieb’s afternoon. He also took a bit of a spill after a glorious scoring opportunity.
But, as we’ve seen before, the 22 year-old had the last laugh.
In the end, Biebs can say he played with Connor McDavid on a line, was hit by Chris Pronger in the corner, and scored a goal, all in an afternoon’s work.
