It’s NHL All-Star weekend, which means there are even more stars than usual out on the streets of Hollywood this weekend. One of the new things in this year’s Skills Competition is the NHL All-Star Celebrity Shootout. With the event less than 24 hours away, the NHL released the lineups for Team Lemieux and Team Gretzky late Friday night.
The two teams will be made up of current and former NHL players, as well as celebrities. Here’s the full roster for each side.
Celebrities and other athletes representing Team Lemieux include David Boreanaz, Taylor Kitsch, Riker and Ross Lynch, Steven R. McQueen, Vincent Piazza, Angela Ruggiero. The list of celebrities representing Team Gretzky is pretty impressive, too. The Great One’s team includes Justin Bieber, Cuba Gooding Jr., Jerry Bruckheimer, Billy Flynn, Michael Rosenbaum, Tim Robbins and Carter Thicke.
The benches will also have their fair share of Hall of Famers and celebrities, as Billy Smith and Pat LaFontaine will be the Team Gretzky’s assistant coaches, while Alyssa Milano and Retta, as well as Echoes of Hope co-founder Stacia Robitaille, will serve as Team Lemieux’s assistant coaches.
The jerseys for the game will feature a special patch dedicated to the beloved TV star Alan Thicke.
